Cassidie’s favorite spots

The Benchmark is located at the Northeast corner of Henderson & Kenny with easy access to Route 315 and the Henderson corridor between Upper Arlington and Clintonville.  For those not familiar with the area, what we are trying to tell you is that The Benchmark is conveniently located in close proximity to just about anything you might need.

Below is a highlight of my favorite places, all within a 5-mile radius of The Benchmark. These are the questions I get the most: “where can I go to shop, eat, drink, run, bike…?”

Antrim Park – 6 minute drive from our door step -The perfect place to run, breath, stretch, chat, dance, fish, and recharge.

Olentangy Bike Trail – Ride your bike from your front step and and land on the trail in under 4 minutes – The Olentangy Bike Trail will take you to Worthington, Grandview, Downtown, pretty much anywhere you want to be in this great city.

Elm & Iron – 8 min drive to a pretty fantastic store full of eclectic vintage finds you want in your home. Even the unique industrial design of the store will make you want to pick up some treasures for your place.

Akai Hana – 2 minutes drive- I would argue the best sushi in town, authentic Japanese food with a great sushi bar and a very enthusiastic staff.

Giant Eagle Market District –  Similar to Whole Foods, only 6 minutes away, plus gas points! You can wine taste while you shop, drop off your dry cleaning, eat a gourmet burger, leave with a latte and locally manufactured soap!

Rafiel’s Studio – 10 minutes down High – top notch Aveda Salon quality with the small town treatment. Located in a cute area between Campus and Clintonville, it’s not your average hair experience.

Honey Dip  Diner– 1 minute drive, if that – fresh coffee, baked goods and amazing breakfast, this place feels like home. You’ll be happy you took a break from your typical Starbucks morning and ate diner style at the coziest place in town.

The Crest gastropub – 11 minutes – If you are a foodie in Columbus, you’ve heard of this place. I love The crest for it’s unique menu, connection to the community, locally sourced ingredients, roof-top garden, rustic feel, awesome brunch, etc, etc… I’m not doing the place justice, check it out immediately. They also have really comfy bar stools.

Please leave comments and let me know what your favorite neighborhood places are and if you got a chance to check out any of my favorites!
